A Financially Responsible Person is someone you designate to handle the Pre-Authorization and rental payment. You can choose this option if you don't have a credit card in your name with available credit. 

This benefit is available for individual contracts made directly with Localiza. The prerequisites are:

• Be at least 18 years old; 
• Have a valid photo ID; 
• Be a Brazilian citizen; 
• Present a physical or contactless credit card. 

Additionally, when chosen, the Financially Responsible Person must be present at the agency during the car pickup, along with the customer.
